CAREER INTEREST POWERPOINT ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
Numerous professional and career opportunities are available in the field of educational
psychology. After surveying job listings in educational psychology, you will construct a
PowerPoint presentation portraying the landscape of the field.
INSTRUCTIONS

Compose a PowerPoint presentation on important components in the field of educational
psychology. You may include elements such as positions currently available in K-12 and higher
education, credentials required to apply, and why you are interested in pursuing these
opportunities in the future. Integrate a Biblical worldview in your presentation.

Your presentation must contain 10-15 slides (not including the title and references slides) and
cite at least five sources. Acceptable sources include professional websites, scholarly articles,
books, the course textbook, and the Bible. All citations and the references slide must be in
current APA format.

To ensure your presentation is aligned with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, the
amount of text on each slide should be limited. Please use bullet points on each slide to
document key information and provide a written transcript in the notes section of each slide to
explain and defend your assertions.
